I order a takeout today and I had diarrhea 5 times🙄 THE FOOD TASTE WAS NOT GOOD NOT AUTHENTIC TAIWANESE FOOD

Been to this place for thirty years so that means personally this place is great. But after the pandemic the owner decided not to have dine-in anymore, plus, prices went up quite a bit. Today I went there again after more than a year and now you can dine in again! Foods taste pretty much like they did before but prices went up again. Now 2 people need to fork out almost $30 and the soup isn't free anymore. Their regular meals maintain the same size as before but when you are really hungry it probably won't be enough. I used to love this place very much but after today it's become just above average for me and I'm not as motivated as before when I was all happy to drive 10+ miles just for their foods. Maybe they've even cut down on the amount of seasoning for the foods coz today's meals feel somewhat under seasoned. And the now missing soy sauce bottle and chilly pepper that they used to put on each table further show you the cost cutting that's been put into effect. To be fair now all the restaurants are very very expensive so it's not really the owners' fault but the continuing inflation is definitely pushing people away from dining out. Finally I still hope this place can continu

We frequented this place for chicken leg rice plates. However, as of Dec 2025, the portion is way smaller and pricier around $15 a plate. Gone is the homemade hot sauce, and instead they gave those cheap Sriracha packets. Gone is the self serving hot tea although the equipment is still there. If you eat inside, bring your own water since they do not serve it. The only constant is the older man at the cashier who hardly smiles, ever.

My quick pick-me-up for fried stinky tofu. Taiwanese style. It's not greasy. The cabbage salad was my highlight. Just glad that they had my fix for fried stinky tofu. Service was fast and efficient. It was quiet. Plenty of parking in a shared lot.

A great place to try out Taiwanese food. I'm not Taiwanese so I can't comment on the authenticity, but I can say that the food is good. I've visited Taiwan and I can say that the stinky tofu here is a good representation! If you want to try it, embrace yourself for the smell, but also awesome flavors. My favorites were the fried rice. The pork chops were good and complimented well by the sour bamboo shoots shreds. The oyster eggs is a new experience for me. It has nice chunks of oysters and goes well with the sweet red sauce. The assorted meat noodle is just okay, not a standout. I'm interested in coming back to explore the other items on the menu. Currently take out only (likely due to pandemic), and cash only.
